Les marques, autrefois outils de distinction, se révèlent aujourd’hui instruments de domination. Elles sont omniprésentes, étouffantes, presque divines, exigeant révérence et allégeance. Dans un monde où le désir de distinction devient une norme, l'individu semble se soumettre aux diktats invisibles des marques, comme une star sous les projecteurs. La société ne façonne plus ses individus, ce sont les marques qui le font. La perfection apparente masque une soumission silencieuse, un confort paradoxal, où l'on trouve sa liberté dans la contrainte des attentes imposées. Est-ce là l’ultime manifestation de la liberté moderne : être soi-même… à travers le prisme des autres ?

Brands, once tools of distinction, have now become instruments of domination. They are omnipresent, suffocating, almost divine, demanding reverence and allegiance. In a world where the desire for distinction has become the norm, the individual seems to submit to the invisible dictates of brands, like a star under the spotlights. Society no longer shapes its individuals; brands do. The apparent perfection masks a silent submission, a paradoxical comfort, where one finds freedom in the constraint of imposed expectations. Is this the ultimate manifestation of modern freedom: to be oneself... through the prism of others?
